CDL License

Commercial Driver's License is referred to as CDL. In the US, driving a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) necessitates having a current commercial driver's license, or "CDL." The CDL Class A license types will entirely determine the overall weight of the vehicle and the type of cargo to be transported. A commercial driver's license can only be obtained after completing Class A CDL training and passing the CDL exam.

There are two basic categories of Class A CDL licenses: Class A and Class B. The kind of vehicle you intend to operate determines the sort of CDL license you need. Each of these permits entitles you to operate a wide variety of CMV classifications.
