Agreement of service-
The intent of this agreement is to provide a training program that will equip the student with the skills and information necessary to pass the DMV exam and operate a commercial vehicle safely. Joining the program is not a requirement in and of itself to obtain a CDL license. Applying knowledge is the student's obligation in order to pass the test.
Payments: The student hereby agrees to pay the tuition prior to the start of the service. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted by PTDS as forms of payment. When using credit or debit cards, an extra fee of 3% is assessed.
Verbal or written agreements cannot be changed without the consent of the student and a school official in writing.
POLICY ON CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Rejection: The institution has the right to give a rejected candidate a full refund of their tuition fees.
Three-Day Cancellation: If a candidate cancels in writing within three (3) business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of signing the enrolment agreement, they are eligible for a 50% return of their money.
Other Cancellation: An applicant is not eligible for a refund if they request a cancellation more than three (3) days after signing the enrolment agreement and paying the deposit but before the start of class.
$150 will be withheld from your refund if you don't sign up for the class by the start date.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES AND COSTS
A fee will be charged to students who fail to show up for their drive exam at the DMV without giving a 48-hour notice to postpone or cancel the exam. Additionally, regardless of whether the student gets tested on that day or not, a $300 extra cost will be charged if the student choose to attend to the DMV as a "stand-by
The no-show fees are sole responsibility of the student and must be paid in full before the student's next drive exam appointment will be scheduled.
Second and subsequent fail on the Pre-Trip or the Drive Exam is $300(each fail). Due to DMV rules the wait to reschedule the Exam is at minimum 4 days
Student Rules:-
be punctual for every class.
No jokes or horseplay are permitted.
No equipment mistreatment.
Alcohol and drugs are not allowed on my property, and if you are found to be using them, you will be asked to leave right away, forfeiting any costs you may have paid.
No foul language.
Keep the equipment and surroundings tidy.
No open-toed footwear (Tennis shoes or boots may be worn).
No slit-front shorts (Pants or jeans may be worn).
No discussion with the teacher, for any reason.
Only park your automobile in the approved spots.
There is a no smoking policy in the classroom, office, and trucks.
Without an instructor present, the truck cannot be started or moved.
No pointless conversation while the truck is moving.
No dozing off in classrooms or trucks.
